Our History

The  Westside Church of Christ congregation has worshipped at this same location since 1969. During this time we have stood firm in the belief that God desires His children to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 

How We Worship

"In Spirit and in Truth"

Our goal is to worship God in accordance with His word and to edify and uplift each other in our worship services. Below is what you can expect in visiting our service:

• Our singing is a cappella with the entire congregation participating. (Ephesians 5:19)
• Our preaching is shared among the male members of the congregation. (1 Corinthians 14:26-37)
• Each Sunday we remember our Lord's sacrifice by partaking of the Lord's Supper. (Acts 20:7)
• We also give, as God has prospered us, for the work of the Church at home and abroad. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
• A warm, inviting group of believers ready to share the love of God with others!

More About Us

At the Westside Church of Christ we strive to become more like Jesus every day by serving God and one another. You will find that we have family-integrated worship where everyone can participate and be spiritually uplifted and encouraged. Our motive is to restore New Testament Christianity by following after the commandments of our Lord for worship, service, and our everyday conduct. We have no denominational affiliation but instead claim the name “Christian” through being part of Christ’s church (Acts 17:11). 

A common belief we have is how important our relationships are. First and foremost with God, but secondly with one another. Many opportunities are given to build these relationships through public worship services, private bible studies, community service/outreach events, activity & game nights, Gospel revivals, and so much more. We hope you will come visit us sometime! We are Westside Church of Christ - Where Christ Comes First.

Just as the first century Christians, we believe in water baptism for the remission of sins. Our baptistery is always ready for anyone who wants to obey the Gospel. (Acts 2:38)
