History
The Westside Church of Christ congregation has worshipped at this same location since 1969. During this time we have stood firm in the belief that God wants His children to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
In Spirit and in Truth
If you are looking for a congregation that worships God in purity and simplicity, according to the New Testament pattern, then come and worship with us. You will find our worship services to be edifying and spiritually uplifting. We worship God in spirit and in truth as directed by His Word.
- Our singing is a cappella with the entire congregation participating. (Ephesians 5:19)
- Our preaching is shared among the male members of the congregation. (1 Corinthians 14:26-37)
- Each Sunday we remember our Lord's sacrifice by partaking of the Lord's Supper. (Acts 20:7)
- We also give, as God has prospered us, for the work of the Church at home and abroad. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)
Just as the first century Christians, we believe in water baptism for the remission of sins. Our baptistery is always ready for anyone who wants to obey the Gospel. Contact any one of our Elders or Deacons and we will assist you in preparing for this life changing event.
